RuneScape Dragonwilds early access just went live. It is a survival game set in Ashenfall. As you explore the beautiful continent, you will come across shocking revelations, learn magical skills and finally, face the Dragon Queen.
The Goblin Diplomacy is one of the quests available in early access. Let’s see how to complete it.
Goblin Diplomacy Quest Walkthrough
How to start?
To get the Goblin Diplomacy quest, you need to talk to an NPC named Zanik. You can find him in the northwestern part of Bramblemead Valley. Look to the east of the castle and near the back entrance of the Whispering Swamp. Zanik will be standing on the U-shaped cliff.
Interact with Zanik. He will assign you the quest at the end of the conversation.
You can read more about the Goblin Diplomacy mission in the quest menu. You will need a logging axe to carry on. So, make sure you have it.
The objective is pretty straightforward– obtain two amulets. Sounds easy, right?
Some specifics of the Goblin Diplomacy quest might vary if you acquire the amulets without talking to Zanik. Your first hideout location is also of significance.
First Amulet Location
The first amulet is somewhere to the northeast of where you found Zanik.
Start moving eastwards until you reach the main road. Refer to the map if necessary.
From there on, walk towards the north. You will encounter a group of goblins holding someone hostage. The group consists of Goblin Archers and Warriors. Defeat them all and enter the castle-like building.
Talk to the caged prisoner. He is a goblin by the name of Bilegut.
Bilegut will give you the location of the amulet in exchange for steak. You can provide him some or just look for the amulet yourself.
Look for a wooden treasure chest. There should be an opening behind it. Walk through and find a wall with a collapsed middle marked by barrels. Step inside and look for a reliquary, a container for sacred items. The Bandosian Amulet will be inside it.
Second Amulet Location
Go back to Zanik and hand over the amulet you just acquired. He will send you to another location in the south of Bramblemead Valley.
The area is encircled by a river. Follow the map to reach the point of interest.
Once you have arrived, you will notice several cages at the edge of the island. There should be a prisoner named Wormelbow in one of the cages. He will reveal that a Garou-beastman has taken everything and that the treasure chest is empty.
However, you still need to unlock the chest to progress.
The island is filled with Goblin Archers and Warriors. Defeat them along the way and head inside the castle.
The bottom opening of the castle holds the chest. It is hidden behind prickly thorny vines. Use your logging axe to clear a way. Open the chest then make your way back to Zanik.
He will then tell you to go somewhere in Whispering Swamp. You need to enter the area using the entrance above Zanik and walk along the boundary. Keep going until you reach a U-turn.
Turn along the road and proceed until you spot a waterfall. There should be a cave near the waterfall. You will encounter some Goblin Warriors by the entrance. Kill them and head inside.
Congratulations, you are now at the final stage. All that is left is to defeat the Garou Druid.
Garou Druid is a fierce opponent with surprising skills in ranged and melee combat. Your best bet is to keep a safe distance. Use your bow and arrow and wait for an opening to land hits. This way, you can easily dodge his attacks.
Be careful of his ranged attacks. If hit, a poison will deplete your health, leaving you vulnerable.
Once you have defeated Garou Druid, you will obtain Druid’s Bandosian Amulet.
Report back to Zanik and hand over the amulet.
The Goblin Diplomacy quest is now complete!
Goblin Diplomacy Rewards
Upon completing the titular quest, you will receive a clothing item called ‘Goblin War Banner’. Here are the stats for Goblin War Banner:
- Melee Defence – +2
- Ranged Defence – +2
- Magic Defence – +2
- Weight – 5.0
You can use this item later on in the game.
