Dandadan is back with an extremely wild chapter yet again, which isn’t all that surprising anymore. The typhoon human is now actively throwing frozen sharks at the plane to sabotage Seiko’s plan, but Momo, Jiji, and everyone else on the plane aren’t going to let that happen. The great serpent lord was eventually destroyed (partly), but Momo is capable enough to fill in for the gap.

2. Recap of Chapter 197 of Dandadan
The latest chapter of Dandadan started with Jiji admiring the worm as it was really capable of doing its job. He did feel conflicted about admiring his enemy, but also wondered if it wasn’t getting frozen by being outside. Naki Kito explained that being raised underground somehow increased their resistance to cold. After watching them, Momo and Jiji also decided to keep at their job, and right before they started hurling sharks, the Typhoon Human hurled a shark at the plane, which knocked Momo and Jiji out of the plane.
Jiji managed to hold on to the surface of the plane, but Momo was getting blown away. Right when we thought they had lost her, Zuma showed up and grabbed Momo. However, Zuma also started getting blown away, so Jiji caught him, making a chain. Naki Kito and her group were getting tired of firing sharks at the typhoon, and asked Momo how much longer they’d have to do it, and Momo asked them to just keep at it until they saw changes. Unfortunately for the whole group, the Typhoon human shot sharks at the base of the great serpent lord, and tore it.
The great serpent got detached from the aircraft and started floating away, but Momo used her ability and grabbed hold of it along with Jiji and Zuma. She then used her ability to punch through the worm’s tube-like body to make it fly. Now, as long as Naki Kito could effectively steer the worm’s head, they could freely fly through the sky.
However, the worm kept moving away from the plane, and Jiji pointed out that they wouldn’t be able to fire sharks anymore. Momo told him that they didn’t need to do it anymore and said they’ll be moving straight up to the stratosphere. This is a really dangerous idea, though, as they’d just choke to death out there. Momo explained that they’d be able to defeat the Typhoon Human if they smashed the eye of the typhoon in the stratosphere.
3. What To Expect In Chapter 198 of Dandadan?
No one would have expected the eye of the Typhoon it be an actual eye, a massive one at that. No average human body is made for battling in the stratosphere, so the upcoming chapter will likely feature only Momo and Jiji in action, as both their abilities give them an edge in the situation.
Chapter 198 of Dandadan will likely be the end of the Typhoon Human, which will end the typhoon and the predicament the whole group is in. Meanwhile, we still do not know what Seiko is up to, and if she’s actually driving the plane or not, so we’ll likely get an update on Seiko’s situation too in the upcoming chapter.
