A Scout’s Checklist – All Items in PEAK and What They Do

In PEAK, a lot of the survival relies on efficient stamina management and the strategic use of available items. Every tool, every potion, every mysterious object has a purpose.

Knowing what each one does might be the deciding factor between reaching the summit or falling short of it. Whether you’re climbing solo or working together with friends, you need to be prepared for everything.

Unfortunately, PEAK doesn’t provide in-game explanations for most items, and some can harm you if used recklessly. To make things easier, we’ve created a full item guide.

In Peak, you will constantly battle exhaustion, extreme weather, and treacherous terrain. On top of managing your stamina, you’ll also need to deal with various status effects like poison, frostbite, and more.

Thankfully, the plane crash resulted in the island being scattered with luggage, packed with items designed to help you survive: whether by curing ailments, boosting stamina, or offering new ways to scale cliffs.

However, every item adds weight to your player, which can make your climb more difficult. That means you’ll need to consider what’s worth taking with you carefully.

To help reduce the trial and error, we’ve compiled everything you need to know about each item’s function so you can make smarter choices and avoid learning the hard way.

In PEAK, every item can be picked up with E and activated using Right-Click (some require holding). Here’s a breakdown of all items, organized by type/function:
