Animes and mangas over the years have featured several battles in outer space with humongous space ships and mechas piloted by human beings.

We’ve all experienced these mechas and ships in fight sequences with alien species, but little do we focus on what goes inside these ships.

Tadahiro Miura, an author, popularly known for writing and illustrating Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs revealed in this year’s 32nd issue of Weekly Shonen that his 1-shot would be featured in the combined 33rd/34th issue of the magazine.

His one-shot titled Giniro no Seven will be featured in the magazine’s combined 33rd/34th issue on July 20.

Tadahiro Miura ended his Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs) in the 27th issue of this year’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on June 8.

He also assured fans that a special chapter for the manga would be published in the summer issue of the Jump Giga magazine on July 27.

The 24th and final compiled volume of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs featuring chapters 99 to 141 and the special chapter will start shipping from December 4, 2020.

With his long-running manga now concluded, Tadahiro Miura’s one-shot Giniro no Seven will be a sci-fi romantic comedy. Giniro No Seven (Silver-Colored Seven) will focus on a high school student named Sakuya, who meets the “Space Battleship Human.”

It isn’t uncommon for one-shots to later be adapted into full-blown mangas as they often serve as a preview for upcoming series. Mangas like Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Beserk started off as one-shots and got adapted into mangas after receiving positive reviews.

Fans of Tadahiro Miura can hope the same for Giniro No Seven (Silver-Colored Seven) as he is known for his comedic writing and well-placed gags.
