WSJ Publishes Rengoku Volume 0 Spinoff Manga In October

This upcoming spinoff manga of the series is sure to perk up our interest.

An official tweet by Weekly Shonen Jump announced that the first 19 pages of the Rengoku Volume 0 manga will be published in the 44th issue of the WSJ magazine.

The pages will also be available on the Manga Plus app of Shueisha.

The 44th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will be published on 5th October 2020.

Rengoku Volume 0 is fully illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, the author of the Demon Slayer series.

Rengoku Volume 0 is a manga that will be based on the flame hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.

The first mission of Rengoku will be portrayed in the manga. His journey from a newbie to a powerful hashira will be shown.

The Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie is set for its theatrical release on 16th October.

The Rengoku Volume 0 manga will be distributed to the attendees of the premiere. 4.5 million copies will be distributed among fans.

Kyojuro Rengoku is one of the most popular characters from the Demon Slayer series. It is thus of no surprise that Rengoku is getting a spinoff manga to himself.

A spinoff manga for Demon Slayer, Rengoku Gaiden, will be published in the 45th and 46th volume of Weekly Shonen Jump.

It will be a two-chapter spinoff, which will be released on 12th and 17th October.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge.

Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2016 with 19 collected tankōbon volumes released as of present.

In a world filled with demons and demon slayers, Kimetsu no Yaiba follows the lives of two siblings Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, after— the murder of their family at the hands of a demon.

Their hardship does not end there, as Nezuko’s life is spared only for her to live as a demon.

As the oldest sibling, Tanjiro vows to protect and cure his sister. The story traces the bond of this brother-sister or better yet, demon slayer and demon combo against the odds of an arch antagonist and the society.
