World Trigger Chapter 206: Release Date, Delay, Raw Scans

The away teams are firmed up as the date for the big mission gets closer, and the squad lineups for the Away Mission got finalized.

At the end of the orientation, the participating agents were presented with yet another surprise, as Kido announced that the A-Rank Agents would be their judges in phase one.

With the orientation over, the mission will now progress to the first phase, and fans are excited for it as the story will finally pick-up pace. As we anticipate the manga to provide some action-packed chapters, here are the updates on the next chapter of World Trigger.

1. Chapter 206 Discussion and Prediction

Just as fans expected, Katori ended up in the same team as Osamu, and Ema and Chika ended up in the opposite situation as them, with Ninomiya picking Hyuse as his squad member.

Ninomiya might’ve figured that Chika would be more willing to cooperate on his terms if she had someone comfortable around, and thus ended up picking Hyuse.

With the participating squads for the Expedition decided, in the next chapter, the mission will progress to its first phase with A-rank Agents judging them.

After picking up agents from the first two pools, it’s now time for drawing lots for the final pool. Ninomiya ends up being the first to select an Agent, and after giving it a fair amount of thought, he picks Hyuse.

Following his lead, other squad Leaders also pick the final member for the team, and with this, the orientation for the Expedition gets over.

The final squads participating in the Away Mission are finalized, and before wrapping up the Orientation, Commander Kido asks if there are any questions from the Agents.

Wataru Urashima raises the question on whether he’ll be treated as an A-rank Agent if he passes the test, as up until now, these types of missions have been a part of the Job Description for A-Rank Agents.

Commander denies the possibility of lower rank Agents being promoted to A-rank without passing the A-Rank Advancement Test. However, since the main objective of Wataru was money, he decides to offer a Mission Stipend to the Agents who participate.

And the Agents who choose not to participate in the mission but pass the selection test will also receive half of that daily stipend. Taking up this opportunity, Osamu also asks a question about the remaining A-rank Agents who are not there at the moment.

Shinoda answers the question by saying that A-rank Agents who are not present at the moment will be participating in phase two of the test, but during phase one, they’ll be the one to Judge other Agents.
