Who is the strongest and weakest Uchiha in Naruto Shippuden?

The Naruto series is one of the most well-known franchises in the world. Even after Naruto’s original story has ended, its fanbase keeps on growing, and as one of the greatest clans to ever exist, the Uchiha’s are always being talked about.

With members such as Itachi, Sasuke, and Madara, this clan has made a long-lasting impression on us, especially when considering their dojutsu and its influence on the Naruto Universe.

Just like me, all of us must have at least once argued with others about the superior Uchiha, among all others. So lo and behold! Below, I have finally listed down the top 10 strongest Uchiha’s in Naruto Shippuden.

Keep on reading, and gain a fresh new perspective for your future arguments.

10. Tajima Uchiha

Tajima Uchiha was a member of the Uchiha clan during the war-torn era, preceding the age of hidden villages, and was Madara and Izuna’s father.

As someone who had awakened the Sharingan, Tajima was endowed with the various abilities which greatly enhanced his own combat prowess on the battlefield.

In fact, he was noted to be evenly matched with his rival Butsuma Senju, Hashirama’s father.

Judging from the tanto strapped to his lower back, Tajima was a practitioner of kenjutsu.

His prowess, coupled with the fact that he was able to survive until adulthood during a world steeped in wars, makes him extremely powerful.

Tajima Uchiha is the weakest Uchiha as due to being of an older era, he is continuously being surpassed by those of the present. His own sons, Madara and Izuna, outdid him splendidly and led the Uchiha clan to great heights.

9. Kagami Uchiha

Kagami Uchiha was a jonin from Konohagakure’s Uchiha clan who worked directly under the Second Hokage. His loyalty towards the village was unquestionable, and he was one of the only Uchiha’s that Tobirama trusted.

Kagami had awakened the Sharingan, which granted him various abilities, such as seeing the flow of chakra, recognizing genjutsu, and copying techniques. In the anime, his visual prowess was praised by Danzo for saving his life many times.

Kagami’s descendant, Shisui, who was hailed as the strongest Uchiha of his time, openly admitted that he was inferior to his ancestor. Due to this, he is placed 9th.

8. Naori Uchiha

Naori was undoubtedly a powerful Uchiha as she was able to awaken the Sharingan and the elusive Mangekyou Sharingan. She was also one of the few Uchiha’s who had never succumbed to the clan’s Curse of Hatred.

Naori was also able to use one of the clan’s kinjutsu: Izanami, which trapped a target in an endlessly-looped genjutsu with no hope of escaping unless they accept themselves.

She used this on her close friend Naka Uchiha, who ultimately corrected his ways.

Other than her superior eye prowess, she was also shown wielding a sword, indicating skill in Kenjutsu. She is ranked 8th on this list.

7. Fugaku Uchiha

Fugaku Uchiha was the head of the Uchiha clan and the leader of the Konoha Military Police Force. He was also the father of Itachi and Sasuke.

Fugaku, as the head of the clan, was extremely strong and was considered a rare genius. During the third-war, he was feared by the other nations and was nicknamed “Wicked Eye Fugaku.”

He had awakened his clan’s dojutsu, the Sharingan, as well as the Mangekyou Sharingan during the Third Great Shinobi War. His eye prowess was enough for Fugaku to be capable of controlling the Nine-Tails.

His talents were so admirable that he was compared to Minato Namikaze and even viewed as a prime candidate to become Fourth Hokage.

Even when Itachi betrayed his clan, despite being extremely powerful, he hoped to avoid fighting against Fugaku. All of this makes him deserving of his place in the 7th position.

6. Izuna Uchiha

Izuna Uchiha was Madara’s younger brother and a shinobi of the Uchiha clan. Along with the Madara, he was renowned as the clan’s strongest and most gifted member.

Due to his prodigious talent, he often sparred with his brother and was his equal before Madara acquired the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. His prowess allowed him to fight on similar grounds with Tobirama Senju, renowned as one of the strongest and fastest of his time.

Izuna had also mastered his Sharingan at a very young age, and when it was used in combination with his kenjutsu, he was near unstoppable.

5. Shisui Uchiha

Shisui Uchiha was an Anbu from Konoha’s Uchiha clan and one of the most talented members they ever had. Due to his exceptional mastery over the Body Flicker Technique, he earned the nickname “Shisui of the Body Flicker.”

When using this technique, he would fade out of sight, leaving no trace of his presence.

Shisui had also mastered Sharingan’s use until the point where it was said to be better or on par with Itachi’s. He later awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan, which gave him access to a powerful technique called Kotoamatsukami.

This technique allowed him to enter a person’s mind and manipulate them, while the victim wouldn’t even notice that they were being controlled.

Shisui also succeeded in manifesting a red tomoe Susanoo which had the ability to unleash a barrage of chakra needles at an incredible speed and provide excellent defense.

His power and strength would’ve continued to grow; however, Shisui is placed 5th on this list due to his untimely death.

4. Obito Uchiha

Obito Uchiha was a member of Konohagakure’s Uchiha clan, who later inherited Madara’s plan to create an ideal world. Under his tutelage, Obito dramatically improved his abilities and became one of the most powerful characters in the series.

Being an Uchiha, Obito had awakened his Sharingan and even Mangekyou, which allowed him to perform Kamui, which served as a gateway to another dimensional space.

After taking the Rinnegan from Nagato, Obito implanted it into his left eye and became capable of performing all of the Six Paths Techniques.

Thanks to the White Zetsu, which were made out of Hashirama’s cells, he could also perform Wood Release as well as control the Ten-Tails when he was connected to its body.

Later on, after becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki, his power exceeded that of even Hashirama Senju, as he was able to effortlessly fight three powerful Hokage with ease, overwhelm both Naruto and Sasuke Uchiha several times, and had the capability to destroy the entire Allied Shinobi Forces.

He would have ranked in the 3rd place if he could maintain this form, but since it took a heavy toll on him, Obito is placed in the 4th position.

One thing to note is that if Indra Otsutsuki, the founder of the Uchiha clan, were a full-fledged Uchiha, then he would have ranked in this position.

3. Itachi Uchiha

Itachi Uchiha was Sasuke’s older brother and one of the strongest members of the Uchiha clan. Later on, to prevent a coup, and protect his brother, he murdered his entire clan and joined the Akatsuki.

Itachi was a prodigy who unlocked his Sharingan at an early age and had activated his Mangekyo Sharingan during his teens.

Thanks to his eye prowess, Itachi could cast powerful illusions, dissolve his body into a flock of crows, and was one of the strongest Fire Style users in the series.

However, his real power stemmed from his Mangekyo Sharingan, which granted him access to three legendary techniques: Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo.

When using his Susanoo, Itachi was surrounded by a spectral warrior that would protect him from damage.

In addition to the chakra swords and Yasaka Magatama common to all Susanoo, Itachi’s Susanoo wielded the Sword of Totsuka, which could seal any person it pierced into its gourd and the Yata Mirror which could reflect any attack by changing its chakra nature.

The simultaneous use of both weapons made Itachi virtually invincible.

It should be noted that the only time Itachi had lost a fight was when facing Sasuke, and even then, it was intentional. If even Naruto’s creator thinks of him as one of the most powerful Uchiha, who are we to deny him this position!

2. Madara Uchiha

Madara Uchiha, along with Hashirama, co-founded Konohagakure and was one the most powerful shinobi to ever live.

By implanting his brothers’ eyes into his own, Madara unlocked the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, which gave him access to a perfect Susanoo, whose power was comparable or even higher than that of the tailed beasts.

Even without his Susanoo, Madara’s regular Sharingan was so powerful that he went up against the Allied Shinobi Forces single-handedly.

He also mastered the Edo Tensei and was able to restore himself to full life. Furthermore, Madara unlocked the wood style and Rinnegan after transplanting the cells of Hashirama into himself.

Other than his Dojustsu, and Ninjutsu, he was also near unrivaled at Taijutsu and could face off and prevail against Might Guy, who had all eight gates open.

During the Fourth Great Ninja War, after becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and awakening the Rinnegan, he almost became like a God. Due to this, he is placed 2nd on this list, just a rank below someone who actually has the powers of a God.

1. Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke is a member of the former team seven and the strongest member of the Uchiha Clan. He was under the tutelage of Kakashi, who taught him Chidori and other essential skills.

However, due to his thirst for revenge, he left Konoha and joined Orochimaru, where he improved his abilities and became efficient in the use of curse marks.

After gaining the Mangekyou Sharingan, and the eternal Mangekyou later, he was able to use his special skill Amaterasu. Even after his eyes evolved to Rinnegan, he retained his former Mangekyou abilities.

Besides his extraordinary dojutsu, he is also tremendously skilled in Taijutsu as he has proven himself as a physical match to Naruto, the Seventh Hokage.

After gaining the Six Paths Chakra during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Sasuke unlocked the Rinnegan in his left eye, which gave him access to the Six Paths.

It also granted him a special space-time technique called Amenotejikara, which let him instantly switch places with a target.

His most powerful move, however, is Indira’s Arrow, which shoots a lightning bolt infused with demonic chakra from Sasuke’s full-bodied Susanoo with enough power to cut through a tailed beast’s attack easily.

Sasuke Uchiha is the strongest shinobi in the Uchiha Clan as his immense power rivals even a God. With the Six Paths Chakra and his Rinnegan, he could fight against and defeat Kaguya Otsutsuki.
