Dragon Ball is one of the greatest classic anime franchises that has not only contributed to the Japanese culture but has spread the growth of manga and anime globally.
The anime carefully and sincerely adapts the entire manga written by Akira Toriyama. The increasing popularity of the Dragon Ball gave rise to various sequels like DBZ, DBZ Kai, DB GT, and DB Super.
This anime series has many fun and adventurous arcs that highlight the characters’ growth.
The first installment, Dragon Ball, has 21 filler episodes and a low filler percentage of 14%. Dragon Ball Z has 39 fillers that make 13% of the episodes to be filler.
Dragon Ball Kai has only 2 filler episodes, which makes it have only 1% of filler. The entirety of Dragon Ball GT is filler. Finally, Dragon Ball Super has only 14 filler episodes, and 11% of the series is filler.
The Dragon Ball series has a low filler percent in all its parts (except for DB GT) so, you can skip them all if you absolutely despise fillers.
However, some of the fillers are genuinely entertaining and worth your time!
