What Makes Moro the Strongest Dragon Ball Super Villain Yet?

Chapter 61 of Dragon Ball Super disclosed a new power of Vegeta called, “Forced Spirit Fission.” He managed to weaken Moro to a certain extent, but Moro retreated to Saganbo’s spaceship, where he had kept a copy of all her abilities inside Seven-three.

Moro devours Seven-three and returns in a state of renewed vigour, and the fleeting hope of his destruction is blown away.

There is no doubt that all Dragon Ball villains have been more powerful than their previous counterparts, but fans could hold onto hope every time. Goku was never as helpless as he seems now. So what exactly sets Moro apart from all other DBS villains?

1. Energy Absorption Power

Moro owns not only the high battling ability but also magical prowess. However, that is not all; Moro boasts of a power through which he can accumulate and manipulate the energy of his surroundings.

Once gathered, he can use this energy to attack his opponents. He sucks out the life energy from beings on Planet Namek as well as other regions.

Moro’s energy absorption power allows him to steal the energy of Vegeta when he turns into a Super Saiyan God. After collecting the strength of a lot of other life forms, Moro reaches a state where he is practically undefeatable.

2. Consuming Beings to Acquire their Abilities

This monstrous power of Moro was brought to light when he consumes Seven-three and receives not only the power that he had backed up but also the unique powers of Seven-three.

When he comes back to fight, he has the extra power of Seven-three, which is to copy the abilities of whoever he touches. And not just that, but it also seems like Moro doesn’t have any time limit to using the power.

3. Newly Acquired Power of Vegeta’s Spirit Fission

During the battle, Moro grabs the neck of Vegeta and makes a copy of his powers while inflicting damage at the same time. Soon afterward, he uses the Big Bang Attack on Vegeta.

Due to his new powers from Vegeta, he will also be able to use the Spirit Fission technique, thus hindering the Fusion attack of Goku and Vegeta. Even if they managed to fuse, Moro could easily separate them, and neither would Goku’s spirit ball work.

One by one, he defeats Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, and the Androids. He shot down Piccolo before he could even get the chance to use his powers.

Now the only one standing is Agent Merus, who was keeping aloof due to his status as an angel. Merus jumps into the battle as all our heroes lay dying. Fans speculate that Merus might sacrifice his status as an angel to defeat Moro.

4. About Dragon Ball Super

Dragon Ball Super came into serialization in June 2015, edited and illustrated by Akira Toriyama and his protege Toyotaru, respectively.

Dragon Ball Super takes the DB universe to another level by introducing the long asleep God of Destruction, Beerus. Beerus initially decides to decimate Earth but postpones his plans when he discovers the fantastic food he had never eaten and hopes to fight Super Saiyajin God one day.
