Witches are depicted differently in diverse cultures throughout the world, but my favorite tales are of those who fly on their brooms all around the world. It might be a fantasy, yet, it drives our imagination to discover different lands.
Wandering Witch tells a tale of not just one witch but several generations of witches who inherit the ability to venture out into the world on their broomstick. Eventually, they become a small part of the lives of people who they meet.
Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina released the 7th visual of the anime on its official website. Studio C2C directs the anime and it will debut in October 2020.
The visual depicts Elaina sitting on her broom and gazing across a cluster of rundown buildings.
Although it seems like an aesthetically pleasing visual at first, on closer inspection, the background shows some creepy contents.
A skeleton, several dolls, and some spooky lighting set the stage. It may be a hint to a journey in one of the episodes in the series.
The official website of the anime has announced the opening and ending themes of the series. The opening theme song is “Literature” by Rena Ueda, and the ending theme song is “Gray Saga” by Chou Cho.
