Violet Evergarden the Movie: Runtime, Release Date and Trailer

The Violet Evergarden series comes from one of the most aesthetically pleasing anime franchises.

A tale of a woman with an unimaginable background, a girl who has seen the worst of humanity, but still tries to find love and escape from her unfeeling cage of a heart.

Adapted from the light novel series by Kana Akatsuki and Akiko Takase, it is the first series to have received Kyoto Animation Awards in all three categories of manga, novel, and scenario.

Violet Evergarden, the Movie, is the second film of the series, and it has been listed with a runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes. The film is set for release on 18th September.

A trailer for the movie was released in June. The trailer depicts Violet in a search for Gilbert, whose words she hasn’t forgotten yet. She refuses to forget about him and will confess what she feels for him.

Violet Evergarden, the Movie, was initially set for a January 2020 release, but it was delayed to April and then again to September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yui Ishikawa is the voice actor for Violet Evergarden, and Daisuke Namikawa plays Gilbert Bougainvillea.

Yui Ishikawa is well-known for her role as Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titans, and Daisuke played Ulquiorra in Bleach.
