Two More Join the Cast of White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party Anime

The cast of the upcoming anime White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party, Picked Up by S-Rank Adventurer continues to grow, with two more voice actors announced ahead of its July premiere.

Toshiki Masuda will voice Will, an enigmatic alchemist with a calm demeanor and mysterious past. Nichika Omori has been cast as Ryoen, a clever researcher serving the royal court. Both characters are expected to play key roles in expanding the world around Lloyd, the show’s quietly overpowered protagonist.

Based on the light novel by Sora Suigetsu and illustrated by DeeCHA, the story follows Lloyd, a white mage unceremoniously removed from the hero’s party for being “useless.” Believing himself to be just an average magic user, he ends up joining an elite group of S-rank adventurers. While Lloyd sees himself as ordinary, those around him quickly begin to realize he’s anything but.

The anime is being produced by studio Felix Film. Directing the series is Hiroshi Yamada, with series composition by Akihiko Inari and character design by Yuta Ito. The cast already includes Gakuto Kajiwara as Lloyd, Rina Hidaka as Yui, Haruka Shiraishi as Silica, and others such as Yuichiro Umehara and Ryouhei Kimura.

White Magician Exiled From the Hero Party will air on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS Fuji, and will be available for streaming on d Anime Store. The original novel began as a web series on the Shosetsuka ni Naro site in 2020 before being picked up for print by Futabasha. A manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno is also ongoing, with the ninth volume scheduled for release on May 30.

With fresh casting and a growing fanbase, this story of an underestimated healer finding his place may become one of the surprise hits of the summer season.
