Two More Bleach Seasons Will Be Coming To Netflix This Quarantine Season

The last episode of Bleach aired 8 years ago and what followed was a long sorrowful wait with false rumors and clickbait to exacerbate the agony.

However, last month, Shonen Jump made a big announcement on the anniversary of Bleach. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arc of Bleach manga will be adapted into a TV anime in Fall 2020

With this release, two of “The Big Three” will once again be airing together.

On the other hand, it has been a tough decision time for online streaming services like Netflix due to the current global situation surrounding the coronavirus.

Netflix is expected to release some huge titles to get more people hooked to its services. As a result, two of Bleach’s classic filler seasons: The Bount Arc and The Assault Arc will be added to Netflix on April 21, 2020.

The Bount Arc

The Bount Arc was created as a filler season when Kubo was busy planning the next big things for the series. Both the arcs do not participate in the main storyline of Bleach, but they are certainly a nail biter.

Just after coming back from the Soul Society, Ichigo was informed by Urahara that Orihime was kidnapped by a group of modified souls. The Bount arc follows the Bounts’ invasion by their leader Jin Kariya and his followers Gō Koga, Yoshino Sōma, Maki Ichinose, Maebashi, and Sawatari.

In the Bleach universe, Bount is a group of artificially created beings that manage to live indefinitely as long as they keep consuming souls.

A long time ago, Shinigami scientists were conducting experiments to develop eternal beings from human souls. The experiment didn’t go well and the test vessels spread in the human world.

This gave birth to Bounts in human forms with extraordinary powers. However, they were treated as devil children and exterminated, so they always had to live undercover.

About Bleach

Bleach is a Japanese anime television series based on Tite Kubo’s manga of the same name. The anime series adapts Kubo’s manga but also introduces some new, original, self-contained story arcs.

It is based in Karakura Town on a 15-year-old high school student Ichigo Kurosaki who becomes a substitute Soul Reaper when Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper, puts Soul Reaper powers in Ichigo. They barely manage to kill the hollow.

Although initially reluctant to accept the heavy responsibility, he begins eliminating some more hollows and also discovers that several of his friends and classmates are spiritually aware and have powers of their own.
