Two Actors Being Eyed For Harvey Dent aka Two Face

The DC Movie Universe is back on track with the massive success of Todd Philips’ Joker. Of the many new movies in the DC pipeline, the major ones include James Gunn’s Suicide Squad reboot and Birds of Prey.

Currently, the primary focus is on the casting of Matt Reeves’s upcoming Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson. This movie excites me most because it is billed as one of the most accurate takes on Batman so far. The cast of the film is becoming more and more power-packed by the day and recently added Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

There are reports that we will be getting yet another villain in the movie with two actors already under consideration. Oscar Isaac, along with Matthew McConaughey, are two stars who are being considered for the part of Harvey Dent AKA Two-Face.

It is currently unknown which actor is more likely to get the role, but both are fan favourites. Oscar Issac has already appeared in the superhero genre. He played the supervillain Apocalypse in X: Men and Poe Dameron in Star Wars.

About Harvey Dent aka Two-Face:

Harvey Dent has previously appeared in The Dark Knight, played by Aaron Eckhart. His portrayal was critically praised and was the main character in many ways. Harvey went from being the hotshot district attorney to suffering tremendous personal loss and turning into the vengeful maniac, Two-Face.

Fans have to wait for Warner Bros. to decide the final name. Still, surely any of either actor will be a great addition to an already talented cast of Batman.

About the Batman movie

Release date: June 25, 2021

Status: Principal photography to begin soon

The new Batman movie finally seems to be moving forward, with the famed vampire Robert Pattinson playing the ‘bat’ this time. The director Matt Reeves has finished the script, and early rumours are that Batman will be a 30-year old character, with no focus on the origin story. The movie is going to be a detective Batman story and will connect to the DCEU in a limited way. As for the villains, Penguin, The Riddler, and Catwoman and Carmine “The Roman” Falcone are confirmed to feature so far.
