The tale of Minato and his love for archery hasn’t ended yet, and I expect some spice in the movie. With the rivalry between Seiya and Shu still ongoing, now is the perfect time for Minato to pace his friends.

The upcoming film of Tsurune is titled “Tsurune The Movie: The Beginning Arrow,” and it will premiere in Japanese theaters on August 19.

You can reminisce about some of the sweetest moments from season 1 in the new trailer:

The movie’s plot has been kept under the wraps so far, but the title makes it look like the film might be a prequel.

Minato’s target-panic was never adequately explained in season 1, and I’m yet to catch up to how he got it. I hope that the movie takes us a bit back in time and shows us all the factors that contributed to Minato’s panic as well as Shu and Seiya’s past.

Most of the staff and cast members from the anime series will reprise their roles. I do not doubt that Kyoto Animation will put its best foot forward for this film.
