With Netflix on board with keeping the franchise alive, I’m sure the legend of Cybertron will continue.

The tale of the battle between Autobots and Decepticons has several spin-offs. Sequels, prequels, cartoons, or comics, they have it all, with the latest one being the War for Cybertron Trilogy.

Transformers: War for Cybertron released the teaser for the upcoming installment of the series, Chapter 3: Kingdom. It will premiere on Netflix on July 29th, 2021.

The trailer gives us a glimpse into the new and final season of the series. It also introduces the planet Earth and the cross-over between the classic Transformers and Beast Wars.

The characters from Beast Wars are descendants of Autobots and Decepticons on Earth. The only difference is that Beast Wars characters can convert from robots to wild animals, unlike the traditional transformers who turned into vehicles.

The descendants of the two are categorized into Maximals and Predacons. The former succeeded from Autobots and the latter from Decepticons.

The two-minute trailer has much going on. First, Optimus Prime is seen holding onto an important promise he made. Then, the viewers are teased with probably the biggest transformer ever.

The upcoming season will be the end of this epic trilogy which is sad. But hey! We at least got something like this, right?

The new trailer got me really hyped up, and it’s honestly difficult to wait. So who is the giant transformer? Are the beast transformers with the Autobots or against them? Or do they have a motive of their own?

Only one way to find out!

About Transformers

Launched in 1984, the Transformers toyline by Takara and Hasbro was promoted through both a comic book by Marvel Comics and an animated series produced by Sunbow Productions and Marvel Productions with Toei Animation.

Transformers follows the battles of sentient, living autonomous robots, often the Autobots and the Decepticons, who can transform into other forms, such as vehicles and animals.

In Cybertron, Optimus Prime prepares to lead his autobot warriors to Earth. Just as they are leaving they are confronted by Vector Prime who warns Optimus Prime of the threat to the galaxy if the four Cyber Planet Keys are not gathered in time. However, Megatron has plans of his own for the universe.
