Tower Of God Anime Teases Re-Introduction Of Rachel

Tower of God’s manga, written by Lee Jong-Hui, made its debut in 2010. It was picked up by Telecom Animation Film for an anime adaptation, making it first-ever webtoon to get an anime. The first episode of which aired on Crunchyroll recently.

The third episode of Tower of God, titled “The Correct Door,” aired recently. Alongside more brutal trials that Bam must go through, the episode hints at a potential meetup between Bam and Rachel. However, something doesn’t quite feel right.

The whole story starts with Bam and Rachel, two very close friends born and raised below the Tower of God. One day, Rachel decides to go inside the tower to reach its top and see the star-filled sky. Bam also goes into the tower to find her.

Since the whole story revolves around Bam trying to find Rachel, it was assumed that we won’t be seeing Rachel for a while. However, episode three of the anime teases a possible re-introduction of a changed Rachel.

The episode puts Bam in yet another test, which involves a mass bloodbath. At the end of the episode, we see a cloaked person strongly resembling Rachel! However, it is very suspicious that Rachel made it out of a violent Capture-The-Flag game with no injuries.

The next episode will be released on 21st April. It will hopefully clear all doubts about the identity of this cloaked person.
