With the second season of The Quintessential Quintuplets inching towards its release date, fans have been more than eager to find how the show will pan out after its great rendition of the cute girls + comedy combo in the first season.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is a Japanese romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. The series follows the life of an academically gifted student, Futaro Uesugi tutoring a set of quintuplets from his class.

The final character trailer of the fifth quintuplet, Itsuki Nakano for The Quintessential Quintuplets season 2 released today. The anime is set to air in January 2021.

The character trailer highlighted the different faces of Itsuki Nakano from the upcoming season, ranging from annoyance to adorable scenes.

Itsuki is the fifth sister of the Nakano Quintuplets. She is known for being stern and diligent yet very soft on the inside, which she proves time and time again by crying and picking fights for the simplest of things.

Previously, TBS released the character video for Ichika and Nino. The character videos of the Quintuplets are streaming on the official Youtube channel of the anime.

The official website of the anime also revealed that the anime will be produced at Bibury Animation Studio who are known for their work in animes like 5-toubun no Hanayome ∬ and Azur Lane.

The second season was directed by Satoshi Kuwabara, with Keiichiro Ochi as the series composer, both returning from the first season.

The anime was originally set for a release in October but was delayed because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, the anime is set to release in January 2021. However, the exact release date and episode list for the season have not been released yet.

Crunchyroll streamed season 1 as it aired in Japan. Funimation provided the English dubbed version of the anime.
