The Promised Neverland Releases 4th Light Novel In December

The official Twitter account of The Promised Neverland announced the 4th novel for the series. The fourth novel is written by Nanao and will be released on 4th December.

The fourth novel is titled “The Films Of Memories”, and it will contain the stories from the DVD booklet of the anime’s season 1. The stories from the Jump Giga magazine and a new short story will be included.

Nanao is in charge of writing the light novels for The Promised Neverland.

She has created three light novels for the series previously

  • The Promised Neverland: A Letter from Norman (2018)
  • The Promised Neverland: Moms’ Song of Remembrance (2019). This light novel focuses on Isabella and sister Krone.
  • The Promised Neverland: Records of Comrades (2020). It focuses on the background of Lucan and Yuugo.

A new one-shot chapter of The Promised Neverland will debut in an exhibition in Tokyo in winter. The anime series of TPN debuted in January 2019.

The second season of the anime was supposed to debut in October 2020. However, it was delayed until January 2021. A live-action film based on TPN will open on 18th December. 

About The Promised Neverland

Created by Kaiu Shirai, this series debuted in a Weekly Shonen Jump manga in 2016. Licensed by VIZ Media for an English Language release, this series has gained immense popularity, selling 4.2 million copies in a concise period.

It’s set in the year 2045. Emma, an 11-year-old orphan, living in Grace Field House is a self-contained orphanage housing her and 37 other orphans.

The orphans are allowed complete freedom, except to venture beyond the grounds or the gate, which connects the house to the outside world.

One night, Emma comes to know the truth about the Orphanage and it’s connections to the demons.

Determined to break out of Grace Field House, Norman and Emma join with Ray to find a way to escape along with their other siblings.
