4. About The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Kyon considers himself to be an average high school student. Although he is bored with his mundane life, he does absolutely nothing to change it.

However, his regular life goes mayhem when he meets an overly eccentric girl, Haruhi Suzumiya. While introducing herself to Kyon, she states that she would only talk to aliens, time travelers, and espers.

Similar to Kyon, Haruhi is also extremely bored of her life, but tires to engage herself every possible club but find nothing worth her time.

Inspired by Kyon’s idea, Haruhi forms her own club, the SOS Brigade, that specializes in all things supernatural. Unknowingly, Haruhi creates things and people that take her and Kyon on a fantastic adventure.

In this adventure, they meet new friends and get tangled into a weird mess where they must work together to turn everything back to normal.
