Premiere on October 7th

The official website and Twitter handle of TSUKIUTA. The Animation 2, announced the premiere of the anime for October 7th.
The second season had been set to premiere in 2019 but was postponed to April 2020 and again delayed. The anime features new staff and studio.
Yukio Nishimoto directed the anime at Children's Playground Entertainment. Natsuko Takahashi was in charge of the series scripts.
Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION follows the lives of the Tokyo idol unit Six Gravity and their rivals Procellarum, the Western Japan idol unit.
The story portrays the daily lives of the twelve youngsters, the moments they share, the stress accompanied by being a Tokyo Idol, and more.
