Tsuji Inherits Kubo’s Will in New Teaser

Shoot! Goal to the Future, a sequel to Tsukasa Ooshima’s Shoot! franchise is back with a brand new protagonist, but the vintage vibes remain the same.
The Shoot! Goal to the Future anime will be released in July 2022. The franchise is returning with a new installment after 28 years.
The new teaser shows the transformation of Kakegawa High School’s soccer club into the strongest team.
Kubo’s ball-handling skills are shown as he takes on the opponent team in a match.
When Kamiya later sees Tsuji play, he is reminded of Kubo. Tsuji’s cold attitude is reflected when he says that soccer is just a matter of whether a shot is missed or not.
Can the upcoming sequel of Shoot! Make a name for itself? I hope Tsuji proves himself to be capable of Kubo’s title.
