Release in December

The official page for the original anime Toutotsu ni Egypt Kami released a new promotional video announcing its premiere in December 2020.
The promo shows all thirteen characters of the series: Anubis, Thoth, Medjed, Bastet, Seth, Horus, Ra, Apep, Sa-ta, Wenet, Khnum, Otter, and Sobek.
The anime is about ancient Egyptian Gods enjoying their leisure life in Egypt. Frontline Works will be working on the anime with Typhoon graphics.
The image of the Egyptian god Medjed became famous in Japan in 2012, after the British Museum held an exhibition on ancient Egypt in Tokyo.
Medjed was the protagonist of the Kamigami no Ki anime in 2016. Goodia, Inc. released a gag otome game featuring the Egyptian gods.
