One Piece: Episode 978

With a flawless narrative and good animation quality, One Piece has yet again shocked the entire anime industry.
Episode 978 of the One Piece anime featured Luffy, Law, and Kidd face off against Kaido’s battleships.
The 15-second sequence where Luffy grabs the mast while the ship moves mid-air is probably the best-animated part of the episode.
The animation quality in this episode is reminiscent of a Toei movie rather than a long-running shonen.
With this rise in quality, one can only dream of what is about to come.
