The World Ends With You

Square Enix’s official Youtube Channel released a special video that previewed the upcoming “The World Ends With You” anime series.
The preview featured the protagonist Neko as well as background music by the original video game’s music composer Takeharu Ishimoto.
Kouki Uchiyama who voiced Neku in the video game is returning to voice his character again in the anime series. Kazuya Ichikawa, is directing the anime.
The World Ends with You is an action role-playing game with urban fantasy elements developed by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS in July 2007.
The game was inspired by Square Enix’s ‘Kingdom Hearts: Chains of Memories.’ In 2008, Shiro Amano drew a two-chapter one-shot manga adaptation.
In July, it was announced that the popular action fantasy is being adapted into an anime series by Shin-Ei Animation and DOMERICA.
