Netflix announced that the manga will receive an anime adaptation in 2021. The first visual for the upcoming anime was shared by Netflix.
It show Tatsu holding up a cute bento made by him, which is a stark contrast to Tatsu himself, who looks like a stereotypical gangster with an apron.
Kousuke Onno shared an illustration after the announcement of the anime adaptation. It shows Tatsu holding a spatula with chibi Miku & Masa.
J. C. Staff is animating the series. Kenjiro Tsuda (Chisaki Kai, Jegal Taek) will voice Tatsu. The manga's live-action drama premiered in Oct 2020.
