The new 16 page one-shot of 'The Promised Neverland' series was released yesterday with a special color page that focuses on Ray.
The page depicts the moment when Ray finds out the truth about the orphanage and his resolve in rescuing his friends from that awful place.
Ray has finally solved the Morse code and realized that the orphanage is a Farm and the kids are mere food for the monsters lurking outside.
Ray contemplates about whether or not to share the truth with his friends and figures out the order in which they might get sold off as food.
6 years pass by as Ray prepares to escape taking Norman and Emma with him. At the end of the original manga we see his mission succeed.
The ending chapters of The Promised Neverland manga reveals that although they had escaped Emma had disappeared.
It is later revealed that she lost her memories and then when Emma senses a connection with all of them, they decide to live together again.
We see all of Ray’s suffering and sacrifice come to fruition by the end of the manga. He seems happy and content when they meet Emma once again.
