The Promised Neverland Season 2

Fans have been rejoicing the return of their favorite child-eating anime but that joy has been dampened due to an upcoming episode’s decision.
It was recently declared that the next episode of The Promised Neverland anime’s season 2 will be a recap episode.
EP 6 will be the recap episode and new content will be adapted starting EP 7. Although the manga has ended, there is a lot of material yet to be adapted.
TPN has already suggested some original plot that will be adapted into the anime. Is the recap episode in preparation for the original material?
In EP 5 we get to experience what the demons do in their daily lives. The EP after the recap will show a conflict between the demons and the children.
