Manga Ends Next Month

Despite all the hype behind the light novel series and the manga, The Detective is Already Dead anime failed to deliver on any of it.
The December issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine announced that the manga will end in the magazine’s next issue on November 27, 2021.
The light novel series has two manga adaptations. Mugiko’s manga adaptation began in May 2020 and is coming to an end. This one covers the first volume of the light novel.
Many episodes’ first half features events from the first volume, after which the second half just switches to the second volume’s material out of nowhere.
This confused many people and left a wrong impression about the series, totally misrepresenting the source material.
If you are willing to give the story another chance, the manga is the way to go.
