The Detective is Already Dead light novel series follows the post-retirement life of crime-magnet highschooler, Kimihiko.
The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of The Detective Is Already Dead revealed its third key visual featuring idol singer Yui Saikawa.
We see Yu Saikawa in her concert costume. She is performing a song on stage while Kimihiko and his classmate Nagisa cheer for her from behind.
A mystery story without any comic relief seems tiring after a certain point. That’s exactly what Yu’s character is here for.
Kimihiko has been depressed since he lost his detective partner. Can his new friends fill the void in him and bring back normalcy to his life?
