The Band Behind Rebellious OP

With a new cour comes new theme songs, and Attack on Titan’s new OP is a banger, to say the least.
It was only recently revealed that the track’s singer is SIM, a reggae and punk band.
The opening theme song is titled “The Rumbling.” The name is derived from the global threat that humanity faces from Eren, and the track fits its title.
SiM has worked under labels like Sony and Universal Music Japan and is now ready to move onto Pony Canyon.
“The Rumbling” was composed by the band members after learning AoT’s plot, which explains how smoothly it fits with the anime and its atmosphere.
The band’s musical style mixes heavy metal, punk, hip hop with rebellious lyrics. I’m looking forward to hearing more music from them in collaboration with popular anime.
