Inoue Announces Movie After 25 Years

Takehiko Inoue’s manga about basketball, Slam Dunk, is a classic sports-inspired series that will soon receive a new movie.
Mangaka, Takehiko Inoue, announced on his Twitter account that his Slam Dunk manga is inspiring a new anime film.
Takehiko teases us with a GIF saying, “SLAM DUNK.” No other details regarding the plot or release date have been revealed yet.
Toei Animation will be taking charge of the production, and the fact in itself is enough for us to anticipate quality content from the film.
With Kuroko’s Basketball currently topping the basketball anime genre, it will be interesting to see how this new film lives up to our expectations.
