Mamoru Hosoda Announces Film

The famous director, Mamoru Hosoda, behind Summer Wars & The Girl Who Leapt Through Time will surprise us with another project in 2021.
Belle, the new animation film from Mamoru Hosoda’s Studio Chizu, will premiere in Japan in Summer 2021.
Belle is an original film that will be scripted and directed by Hosoda. He is also the creator of the film.
A new stunning visual is released for the upcoming anime film. It looks stunning with a glimpse of the online world in which the plot takes place.
Belle will portray an “ever-evolving online world.” The plot will occur in an online world called “U,” which has 5 million users worldwide.
The plot seems similar to Hosoda’s previous work, Summer Wars, which had an online hacking theme.
