Studio Ghibli’s First CG Anime

Studio Ghibli has created beautiful films like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, etc. But, can Studio Ghibli do the same when it comes to CG anime?
NHK posted a PV for Studio Ghibli’s first CG anime film, Earwig & the Witch. It will be aired on NHK General on Dec 30.
The video shows Earwig’s mischief while staying in the orphanage, & one day she gets adopted by a strange couple.
Studio Ghibli has always used traditional hand-drawn frames, neglecting graphics. With this film, Studio Ghibli will tackle computer-generated art.
The cast & staff for the film will include Gorō Miyazaki, Katsuya Kondo, Kokoro Hirasawa, & more.
