Daigo Umehara, aka the Beast, has been a name synonymous with competitive Street Fighter tournaments.
Daigo Umehara announced on his Twitter accounts that he has tested positive for the COVID-19.
Umehara also announced that he has been under self-quarantine since the symptoms started.
Udon Entertainment will be releasing a Daigo The Beast: Umehara Fighting Gamers! manga inspired by Daigo.
Fans from all over the world have been wishing the Pro Gamer a speedy recovery.
