Fafner of the Blue Sky: The Beyond is not just a simple mecha anime with the aliens vs. humanity trope.
They released a PV for the final three episodes of the series: 10, 11, and 12. They will make their theatrical release on November 5, 2021.
The trailer shows some happy times that Sōshi had. Miwa Hino, another main character of the series, also reminds him of what he is fighting for.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where one lone island, Tatsumiyajima, is protected and hidden from all the disasters and invasion.
A simple war between humans and aliens turns much darker when humanity becomes its own enemy, and you don't know whom to trust.
