PV Teases Richard’s Relation with Henry

Requiem of the Rose King, a brave twist on Shakespeare’s Richard III, is all set to make its debut in 2022.
The new anime will be released on January 9, 2022. It will receive two cours with no breaks in between.
The new trailer shows how Richard was continuously harassed about his gender, but as he grew up, he became confident in his identity.
A new visual also portrays Richard and Henry, and the night on which they had first met.
Although we all know how the War of Roses plays out, Requiem of the Rose King has shifted the focus from the war to Richard and his sexuality.
This attempt is how the manga has captured fans, and I’m hoping the same happens in the anime.
