Visual for 2021 Anime Film Released

The official website of Pompo: The Cinephile has released a new trailer for the anime film. The film will premiere on 19th March 2021.
The trailer starts off like an adventure movie trailer but soon shifts to the behind the scenes work of movie production in “Nyallywood”.
A new visual for the anime has also been released. The visual shows all the main characters: Gene, Pompo, Nathalie Woodward, Mystia and Martin Braddock.
Pompo: The Cinephile is being produced by studio CLAP. The film was scheduled for release in 2020 but was delayed till 2021 due to “various circumstances”.
Takayuki Hirao of God Eater! is directing this film. Hiroya Shimizu, Konomi Kohara, Ai Kakuma, and Akio Ohtsuka are among the main cast.
Pompo: The Cinephile is based on the original manga Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san by Sugitani. It was released on the pixiv Comic website in 2017.
