Although the police comedy genre has quite a presence in the west, it has been a while since we got one in anime.
The upcoming Police in a Pod anime is here to fill that gap and will make you fall in love with the genre once again.
The official website for Police in a Pod anime has released a promotional video. The upcoming anime will be released in January 2022.
This PV begins with Kawai reflecting on how she became a police officer. She is tired of all the things she has to put up with and decides to quit the force until she encounters Seiko Fuji.
Riko Azuna performs the opening theme for the anime “Sharanakiya” (I Gotta Know). The ending theme “Change” is being performed by nonoc.
Manga’s accolades and the success of the live-action adaptation have raised the anticipation for the anime already.
