Original Sports Anime by MAPPA

A new trailer for the Taiso Samurai anime has just been released on the official website of the anime. The anime will premiere on 10th October in Japan.
The anime is being produced by MAPPA. A new trailer has been released depicting our protagonist and struggling veteran gymnast, Shotaru.
Shotaru's daughter Rei and other characters: Leonardo, Tetsuo, and Noriyuki, Shotaro’s coach, also participate in the trailer.
A new visual has also been released depicting Shotaro, Leonardo, Tetsuo, and Rei. The background is filled with gymnastic equipments.
In the year 2002, the formerly powerful Japanese men’s gymnastics team member Shoutarou Aragaki is no longer able to compete.
Even though he trained strenuously daily, he is asked about retiring by his coach Amakusa. However, a certain encounter alters Aragaki’s fate.
