One Piece is on a roll after the 1000th chapter's release, and its sales records capturing worldwide attention.
Shueisha recently announced that the One Piece manga currently has 480 million copies in circulation.
Amongst the 480 million copies in circulation, 400 million were sold in Japan, while 80 million copies have been sold in 42 foreign countries.
Shueisha will celebrate this achievement with some exciting activities with fans. A TikTok campaign has been opened to commemorate the sales.
One Piece has also reached its 1000th chapter on 4th Jan 2021, and it kickstarted a worldwide popularity poll.
In its latest chapter (1002), Luffy and his companions fight against Kaido’s dragon form. We will not be surprised if the manga breaks the 500 million mark.
