Following the recent reveal of the game Sakura Kakumei, Sega and Delightworks released the first gameplay in the form of a special 23 minute anime.
The special episode titled Sakura Revolution: Blooming Maidens features the theme song "Sakura Hikaru Revolution" performed by Aki Hata.
Cloverworks animated the special episode which also features several cut scenes. The game will release in Japan this year for iOS and Android.
Sakura Wars is a cross-genre video game developed and published by Sega for PS 4. The new game is set 71 years after the latest Sakura Wars game.
