My Hero Academia is a series written by Kōhei Horikoshi. The manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump with 28 volumes by Sept 2020.

My Hero Academia swept the top 3 places on NPD BookScan’s Top 20 adult graphic novels list for Oct. They also secured three other spots on the list.

Vol. #25 bagged the top spot, with the 1st & 2nd vol. right behind it. Japanese #25 was released in Dec 2019 while the English released in Oct 2020.

Vol. 25 covers the battle of supremacy between Shigarashi & Re-Destro, which consequently leads to a leveled city.

#17 volume of Demon Slayer secured the 4th place with the #1 volume of Chainsaw Man securing the 5th place.

After gaining major popularity, VIZ Media decided to change the release rate of Demon Slayer from once a month to once every two months.

The rankings cover 85% of trade print book markets located in the U.S.. They are collected from book chains to independent bookshops.
