Mononogatari, Onigunso’s masterpiece, has been captivating fans with its fictional world where spirits and humans often coexist.
Onigunso’s Mononogatari manga is being adapted into an anime. The author has also drawn two new illustrations to celebrate the animation’s decision.
The first illustration shows Botan and Hyoma, the two protagonists in the foreground.
In the second illustration, we can see all the tsukumogami who live with Botan. They have lived with her for years and have bonded with her.
Although the name of the manga is treacherously close to the Monogatari series, they are poles apart.
Living under the same roof might be difficult, but maybe the upcoming anime will prove the spirits’ worth to Hyoma.
