Made in Abyss

Made in Abyss, the fantasy adventure manga on the read list of most otakus has caught the attention of Western moviemakers!
The feature film adaptation of the manga is currently in the early production stage of receiving a feature film by Sony Columbia Pictures.
Kevin McMullin will be adapting the manga to a script for the film. His previous works include Low Tide and First Harvest.
It has a lot of fantasy details and coupled with the existence of a mysterious cave and a half-robot boy, it is a hard feat to pull off.
I hope that the upcoming film shows an improvement on live-action adaptations and Made in Abyss deserves an on-point movie.
