Character Designs Revealed By Netflix

Mappa is an animation studio widely known for making excellent anime like Dorohedoro, the God of High School, Yuri on Ice & Jujutsu Kaisen.
Netflix announced the release of MAPPA's original anime, Yasuke. It is said to premiere in Spring 2021.
Netflix shared the first character designs on Twitter & Yonkou Productions revealed the first poster of the anime on their Twitter account.
The visual features Yasuke and Oba Nobunaga clad in historical outfits from the 16th century.
Yasuke is based on a true story about Japan’s first African samurai who fought against evil using his wits & blades.
The series is produced by LeSean Thomas. He is credited as the creator, director, & executive producer.
Lakeith Stanfield, known for his roles in movies like Uncut Gems & Get Out, will voice the main lead character Yasuke.
