Jujutsu Kaisen refuses to back down in the upcoming movie competition and has just announced an anime movie!
This time, the film will not be a sequel to the anime but a prequel & Satoru Gojou will be making his appearance as the dashing sensei at Jujutsu High.
The 24th episode of Jujutsu Kaisen anime announced the upcoming anime movie adaptation of the series that will premiere in Winter 2022.
The film will adapt the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 manga, which is a prequel to the original story. A brand-new trailer has just been released for the movie!
The trailer reveals Yuta Okkotsu, who is the protagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.
Gege has also drawn a unique illustration for the movie. The visual shows Yuta & phantom arms around him that protectively guard him.
The movie will introduce Yuta and give us a detailed account of him and his special grade curse, Rika. MAPPA will be animating the movie.
