It’s normal for a series to get a boost on its manga sale after the release of its anime adaptation, but the Jujutsu Kaisen manga took it to a whole new level.

Shueisha revealed that Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga has 20 million copies in circulation.

According to reports, the manga’s number of copies has increased by around 235% since its anime adaptation debuted on October 3, 2020.

MAPPA did an incredible job in portraying the anime where regret, shame, and all negative feelings sum up to form curses that skulk into our lives.

The first season will have 24 episodes, which have been divided into two cours. Fans are eagerly waiting for Cour 2, which will release on Jan 15.

With classic series like Attack on Titan heading to its end, the growing popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen ensures us that the future of anime is in safe hands.
