Japan’s Labor Policy Adds 3 Jobs

The Labor Policy Council of Japan has decided to include 3 new jobs under the accidental industrial insurance policy.
The 3 new job types include Workers in the animation production industry, Actors, & Bonesetters.
The Council has decided to include the said job types in the policy by the end of the fiscal year 2021.
People who get work through their agencies can now opt for this special insurance that covers treatment costs, or even accidental deaths.
And with the policy’s immediate effect, the entertainment industry might see a surge of new applicants applying for the once uninsured jobs.
