Inuyasha Sequel Unveils OP

The sequel for Inuyasha anime, “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” is set to debut on October 3rd, 2020. It is being produced by Sunrise Studio.
Viz Media’s official Twitter account announced that the opening theme song for the sequel anime series is “New Era”, performed by SixTones.
SixTones debuted in 2020 and sang the opening theme song “Navigator” for the anime series “The Millionaire Detective Balance: Unlimited”.
The series is being directed by Inuyasha’s director Teruo Sato. The original creator Takahashi is working on the anime’s character designs.
Sesshoumaru’s Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna were separated in a forest fire. Towa ends up in Modern day-Japan and Setsuna forgets her sister.
The story follows the adventures of the twins after they reunite due to a time-travelling tunnel. They are joined by Inuyasha's daughter, Moroha.
